I like that Inno, but when you listen and watch the vids it rattles and squeaks and carries on just like a Mini!   ;D

Here's a Pup for sale on Hemmings, even discounting for the Hemmings price bump I think this is a little optimistic.....

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/austin/mini/1995015.html

There's also a much more reasonably priced 67 850 on Hemmings....

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/austin/mini/1984212.html#&gid=1&pid=3

And an in-the-middle priced MkI Wagon

https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/austin/mini/1744001.html#&gid=1&pid=2

And then there's this eye wateringly priced Traveler......

Yea, those marketers at Gateway classics make hemmings look like craigslist.  What's sad is there are people out there that just don't know and think, "wow what a bargin, I thought classic coopers went for 50K+"

The pup was nice, until the close ups started.  It's in Austin though so don't tell the misses.  LOL.  Realistic price on it?

I agree with Mark on the Pickup -- need beer goggles to love it.

The plain Mini 850 is the nicest of the four since it is mostly original, but it still seems priced high.

The red wagon looks a lot like my old Traveller, but what a crazy price.

The white rusty wagon is priced about 3 times what it is worth.

Mike Malamut's car is up for sale on BaT. This is the one I almost got to drive from Maryland to KC, and then tow to Sandy Eggo last spring. Surprised to see it up for sale already but he probably found a better one to buy......that's how he does his collection, he buys the nicest he can find and if he finds a nicer yet one, sells the other one back off again.

Good luck Mike!

Nice Mini -  a Mk. I you can drive and enjoy without the worry of it being a true Cooper S.

Depending on how the auction goes, I think he will get just a little bit more than he paid for it.

Just like Mark did, I finally hit the Big Time over at BAT with an inclusion in "Yesterday's comments of note"   https://bringatrailer.com/2017/09/12/yesterdays-comments-of-note-140/

Long ago I signed up as LarryH on that site.  (to protect my secret identity!)  BAT liked my Comment about teenage shenanigans in my family's station wagon.

He paid $16,650 plus 5% buyers commission so about $17,500, plus $1600 to get it shipped to him - that's $19,100.....still think he'll make a little on it?

No.  I think it will bid to about $15K and may not make reserve.  But who knows?

As I said above, a lot depends on the tone of the auction.   Right now, the tone in the comments is  somewhat negative because it was listed as a Cooper.

Another Greek Mini on Bat.....

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1969-mini-restored-1969-austin-mini-cooper-mkii/

Looks like a very nice Mini. I wonder what it will sell for?   My guess is around $15K.

Bid only to $12K.  Reserve not met.   I think it was worth more - the seller could not have been more accommodating.  I guess when you think about the shipping and import costs from Greece it could have caused some potential buyers to hold back.

this one should be interesting to watch, a real 67 Cooper S that sold in June for $41K, but the buyer backed out when it blew it's head gasket right after the sale. Heritage Garage fixed it up and now it's back for sale......

Didn't want to put this on BaT, but I smell fish.  You bid up a car to 41K, it's beautiful and has pedigree, but realize the only "valuable" cars today seem to be all original.  Which this is clearly not and you back out because of a head gasket.  What's that take, 5 minutes to change?  Skeptic.  Buyer realized he probably overpaid based off of OG Cooper S values and got lucky to get out.  Guess we'll see what the market says this time.

Maybe just me though.

I see that rx7 went for 21.5k. About what I'd expect for 50k miles on that color.  White, yellow, and red seem to be the big money colors.

I agree Mark, that's why I think it will be interesting to see where it goes....also to see if the market is still as strong on these.

I think a lot of these deals are starting to smell, cars being bought up for big numbers and 6 months later they're back up for auction, hoping to snare an even bigger deal.....just like Mecum. If you watch that show you'll see the same few guys bidding up the muscle cars ever show.

There's an E-Type coupe on there right now that brought all the money on BaT not long ago too......
