Today I learned about the Mahindra Roxor, my son saw one on the road today and talked to the guy driving it at a red light.

Cool!!

I had a Mahindra tractor a few years back...20hp 4wd hydrostatic drive.  Was a good little rig with loader and backhoe.

And let me know if you want to fix the gold/silver market - I'll buy some - guarantee you it will tank so you can buy more.  :cheesy:

I bought a bunch of pot stocks a few years ago - may have been when they were first allowed on the markets or something because all of a sudden it seemed like it was all the rage.  I'm down 90+% on most of them - but not all!  The others I'm down 100%.

Jims5543

I have not bought any in 2 years now. Most of my gold was purchased at $1100 an ounce and under, 4 ounces were purchased at $1500 an ounce.

Most of the silver was at sub $20 an ounce.  $20 was my cut off, if it dipped below, I bought, if it went over, I waited.

Same with gold, my cut off was $1500.  Therefore I have no bought either in over 2 years.

In my head I was going to use that to pay off the mortgage, then I just paid it off without using it, so now it sits and I wait to see when I think it will be a good time to start cashing out.

As long as business is good, I will sit on it, I guess it is now my Oh shit fund, if something unexpected comes up and I need some cash, I can use that.

If you go look at Silver price history, I missed an amazing opportunity in March 2020. Silver went to $15 an ounce for about 4 days. I wish I saw that, I would have pumped everything I had into that sure win. I would love to know how that was manipulated and who did it.

I remember when that happened.  I also remember a lot of the big places STOPPED selling "temporarily" at that exact time.  "Oh we've suddenly run out of inventory..."  Haha!  They knew what was up.

I never considered that part, I bet JM and SC Bullion stopped selling or they would have taken a bath.

BUT, WHO was benefiting from this? I would love to know, I am sure I will never find an answer.

It's the 80's all over again!!!!

There were two wagons hidden behind the blue van too. Burlingame, Kansas - middle of nowhere.....

That white one next to the van looks like a 70's Celica.

I used to have a 1979 Toyota Celica Supra, it was basically a Celica with a straight 6 swapped into it.  Was a fun little car.

That is a crazy sighting. Reminds me of driving around the Appalachians, you come around a bend in a road and there is a classic car museum rusting into the ground in someone's front yard on the side of the road.

All Datsuns, not even Nissans!

Apparently several locals know the guy and have tried to buy one or more of the cars but he adamantly says they're not for sale. Every one of them had a current license plate, although some looked like they were being used for parts storage.

Rooftop bar in downtown Denver. I was going to fall off the wagon hard that long weekend, altitude sickness told me to stop immediately. So the old fashioned I had here was one of my last drinks for a while. I am staying dry for the foreseeable future.  I have shit to sort out. LOL

There are a few of these around the country:

This came out a little blurry, all the rooms in here was complete trips.

Another trippy hallway, the lights kept changing colors, the entire place was surreal. I wish I took more pics, was too in the moment, the place was nuts, I have never seen anything like this. I highly recommend.

We went to the downtown Denver one, spend about 2.5 hours in there and could have easily spent more time there, we got too hungry. I wished I had hit my happy vape before going in, it would have been really intense.

Michael and I are planning a local Mini club drive in a few weeks, and I realized the tires on my Mini were getting pretty old. Plenty of tread left, and the grip was still okay, but 11 years is ancient in the world of tires. So I ordered some new Yoko A539 tires from MS and had them installed at Discount Tire a couple of days ago. They did a great job and let me guide them on jacking locations and lugnut torque too. I can really feel the driving difference with the new tires.

Then I parked the car right next to a massive new SUV or something.

Which reminds me, I need a set of tires for the bus that are starting to wear down on the fronts.

MiniDave

Yeah, I just bought new tires for the black Audi about 4 months before we traded it in!

Of our two Audis that we have now, both have a ton of tread but looking at the date codes the tires are all mixed in age, with some dates back to 2017 (makes sense as it's a 2017 car) and some as new as 2022 - I think all together there were 4 from 2022 between the two cars actually....so, I'm going to pick the newest tires and put them all on one car, then get another new set for the other car.

We don't usually put a lot of miles on our cars, but with my trips to Hallet, Ozarks and now Phoenix I've managed to put about 6K on the white Audi in the 7 months or so I've owned it. I hate replacing tires that still have a ton of tread left, but as Bruce says - they do age out.

With all wheel drive cars one consideration is you can't put tires on that aren't worn to about the same depth, as it puts weird strains on the drive system - or so I've read......I don't know if I believe it completely but that's what the manual says. But you can't mix well worn tires with new ones.....

I put the last set on at Discount and I like them for service so far......I used them in California when I lived there also.

My first thought on seeing the last picture: It's a Mini and a "Maxi"!

Jims5543

Saw these in a clothing store in Wynwood Miami last weekend.

Saw this on the street.

Wynwood is an art district at the North end of downtown Miami. So much to take in, we only had about 2 hours to kill there before we had to pick up our friends at the cruise terminal. We are going back for another weekend to explore around there more.

I95 in Miami on a Saturday afternoon.  It used to be you could scoot into downtown Miami no problem on the weekends. Not the case anymore. I am in the toll express lane doing 16MPH. I pad for that. LOL!

Actually my friend paid for it, we dropped them off for a cruise in their Lincoln Navigator and then came back to pick them up.

I am always amazed by how giant the new "Mini" is.  A classic makes them look giant, even our R53 is tiny next to a new one.

I was in Phoenix a couple weeks ago for my granddaughter's wedding, and while driving down Scottsdale Blvd, this went rolling past.....first time I've ever seen one outside of a museum as they were never imported or sold here.....but now they're old enough to avoid the Federal 25 year ban laws.

AMGEATER - lol!!  I love it!!

After my son finished his DEF delete and flash on his X5d some cat in a AMG GT with a tag that said M-Eater raced him from a red light. The X5 didn't win, and it didn't lose either, they were side by side up to the next light.  The AMG turned off after that.

I mentioned Michael and I are planning a Mini run in a few weeks. We mapped it out using, well, a map.  But neither of us had driven on some of the roads that we planned on using. So I was bored the other day and decided to make a test run on the route to make sure the roads were suitable for Minis. It was extremely foggy but I decided to go anyway. At our destination, which is a Commemorative Air Force museum, I spotted this cool old DC-3 on the flightline. In the fog it sort of looked like a scene from Casablanca.
