HS4 carb casting differences?

the main body HS4 from my 1982 was at the machine shop getting new throttle spindle bushes, and unfortunately it broke in the process.

They sourced another one for me, but found that the part that the idle screw is mounted to is different than the old one. Will this version work? Please see pics. Thanks.

I do not see any reason it should not work.  The overall position of the idle screw seems to be the same.  The one style has the screw recessed in a chamber and the other exposed, but both have it in what looks to be the same position relative to the various holes in the body nearby.
