I just saw this on Facebook, had no idea there was a CMU Mini group in Texas!

Join other Classic Minis for a fantastic tour of the scenic Hill Country region of Texas, known for open 2-lane blacktop, scenic overlooks, vineyards, and twisting rivers. Expect 350+ miles of exciting Mini motoring, visiting iconic landmarks, sampling fine wines and perhaps eating the "Best burger in Texas".
The route* will follow paved State Highways, Farm-to-Market roads, and some private drives. Key features will likely include, Luckenbach, Fredericksburg, Enchanted Rock, the Texas Twisted Sisters route, Old Tunnel State Park bat habitat, Stonehenge 2, and beautiful Augusta Vin Winery.

When: Friday October 25 - Sunday Oct 27. Tours planned for each day.
Where: Outside and around Fredericksburg, Texas.
Accommodations:** Modern bungalows with king suites, private bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and spacious living areas. Covered porches with rockers and a fire pit for the full rural experience.
Cost: $375 per suite (2 nights). King suites can be shared by non-couples but a cot and additional bedding must be self-provided.
Payment: Non-refundable deposit of $100 per room is required to claim a king suite with the remaining balance due by September 23th.
----Rooms are limited (6), pre-registration and deposit will be required to claim your space. Act quickly to secure your space in what looks to be a fantastic experience!

Dave ... where is there a mention of this being a CMU event?

Classic Minis Texas is not a CMU chapter.  They are their own sort of group that does their own thing.

Their event is in conflict with the regular South Texas All British Car Day in Boerne, Texas on Oct 26th.

And here I was also contemplating the idea of another RM group Spring gathering for 2025 and doing similar drives basing out of Kerrville again.

All the Facebook post said was that it was a prep run for going to the CMU event in April - so I mis-interpreted what they wrote - my bad. Still, it would be fun to do, but my October is completely filled......
