Maybe check your lugs

Fiddling with things in the shop made an interesting observation taking wheels off the innocenti.  The lug nuts, while the taper looked correct, didn't seem to seat properly. Wouldn't have even caught this but took a wheel off, set the lugs perfectly in the wheel lug holes and went...hmm seems to bottom out, wonder if they are making proper contact?  Thought for a moment how to even check this, then got a pink sharpy out of my drawer and colored the 4 lugs being used and compared to 4 other lugs in my bin of lugs that had the same taper, but minimally longer reach to where the top wouldn't bottom out.  Well here are the results with pictures.  The 4 on the left only had a small line of contact. The 4 on the right made contact on pretty much all of the taper.  I checked a lug on my force racing wheels on the other mini too just out of curiosity and it also had contact on all of the taper.
