thread size for 1990 998 water temp sending unit?

anyone now what size the threads are in the head of a 1990 998 for the water temp sending unit, Im changing to a reg gauge and the new sending unit is 1/8 NPT need an adapter to make fit? thank you

3/8 NPT I believe, but give me a bit and I'll double check it
