So all the focus at VW is on making electrons move wheeled boxes around now.

Sounds like they plan to "move" all their personnel that was once involved in motor sport activities into their standard fair auto activities?

If that is the plan, I am not sure how well that will pan out in the long term. I would suspect a lot of the brains will jump ship to other motor sport teams rather than stay on board to work in the run of the mill auto market. I am sure many are in the motor sport arena because they were already part of the motor sports world and would likely prefer to remain there.

I guess time will tell.
