Saturday June 1 at 2019 Hot Rod Dirt Drags Monte Vista Colorado
This annual event is getting huge cars from about six-seven states. Lotsa fun watching.

Link is my Brother's '32 Ford pickup with Hemi engine and six Strombergs.
Video with me as PAX halfway down track in comments.
He built that pickup several years ago and is well known in the "Valley". He expert engine builder who built the engine for my Mini.
One of the most intersting cars was the Franklin in the pic. I walked up to it and said " That looks like an airplane engine. I saw the name Frnnklin and knew that Franklin made airplane engines (Stinson Station Wagon) but didn't know they made cars. I later confirmed it when I asked the owner.

franklins are neat they made lots of cars fast and powerful for there time they had about a 30 year run.
