Goodbye house

Have moved countless times close to fifteen in 45 years and have not felt more sad than today to turning off the lights on our (Actually my son and DIL) house we left today. Timber frame built in 2007 with Douglas fir the Old School way with mortise and tenon with pegged joints. As my son said ... it was awsome...  The granite island was so large they referred to it as the "Continent"
Kinda sad for me since I was acting General Contractor.

Texas house. Mini work kinda stopped while i moved for the past couple months.

That is gorgeous.  Always sad to leave a loved home.  6 years ago we left our custom home designed by us on an acre over looking a horse ranch to move into town for the kids to get better educations.  Still miss that house.
