Prototype Moke

Seems like I recently read somewhere (but I don't know where) that someone had found one of the prototype Mokes and was going to restore it.  Well a friend of mine got a bunch of parts recently and included a 950 Mini engine.  Yes, that's right, a 950!  The prototype Mokes had a 948cc engine in them.  The engine size was reduced to 848cc by the time they went into production.  Anyway, if you or someone you know has one of the prototypes, it would be nice to get the two together.

Wow that is a very rare engine!    That's what ran in the Orange Boxes prototype Minis before they reduced the displacement to 848, right?
