No but I do have it on all my Amazon Fire TV boxes and it is hit and miss. I would complain but its free.

Seems the latest version of it is less buggy so I am going to delete and install the newest on my bedroom and living room TV, the garage TV has the latest and works the best.

So lesson here is periodically delete the app and install the latest. It takes all of about 15 minutes to do.

What is Kodi? I read the wiki but still not sure exactly what it lets you do I see that it's a media player, why would I want it. I have a smart TV maybe I'll see if I can install it and play with it.

I can only speak about Fire TV because that is what I am familiar with.

If pirating offends you then read no further.  My ONLY reason I have Kodi (and was the same reason I HAD Direct TV ) is for Formula One, even thought this season is a snore fest so I skip most races.

Kodi is an app you can install on your Fire TV, it is not easy to download because it is regarded as a pirating app.  So you have to jump through hoops to get it installed. A typical app on Fire TV takes about 1 minute to install and use.  This one requires you to go to a You Tube Video and walk through a tutorial as you install it. As I said, it takes about 15 minutes to install and populate it.

It is like Netflix except for all things Video. From Live TV (Football American and Euro) Moto GP F1 etc.., to Movies which is funny, some are still in theaters and it is obvious they are doing a Seinfeld tape on a video recorder and upload deal which sucks, they also rip brand new released on DVD on there too as well as millions of old titles. If we cannot find on Netflix or Amazon Prime we go to Kodi to find titles.

Porn is abundant too, if that is your thing. Not that there is anything wrong with that.  Just be aware no parental controls and kids can get at it.

If you go on You Tune and search Kodi on _______  (Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV, Roku Box, etc.. there will be tutorials on how to install and use it.

It is a very questionable App.  I take comfort in knowing I am stealing from Bernie and F1 who do not want me as a customer beccause I do not buy Rolex's and Ferrari's.  I also was pissed whrn I paid for Hulu on my Fire TV so I could get AMC and The Walking Dead to only find AMC will not stream it. So I go to Kodi the next day and watch it.

I pay for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO and Showtime, if any of these sources cannot give me what I want, I have no problem going on Kodi for it, especially F1.  Fuck you Bernie.

Well, don't buy a Vizio smart tv their stupid yahoo OS is crap can't do shit with it. But it looks like I can install Kodi on my Chromebook and cast it to the tv with chrome cast.

towjoe, If your tv is not a vizio like mine from what I'm reading you need to install kodi and lynx since it needs an OS. onto an usb drive and then put the drive in your tv and access it that way.

If your tv uses a android based os you may be able to install the app directly to the tv this is just what I have been reading.

Oh and I second the Fuck Bernie
