Not entirely sure how I feel about that exact color, but I do much prefer the less used retro original colors from the 60's/70's like the various shades of greens and blues.

I think those muted pastels do work well on a Pup, but given how small all Minis are I like bright colors in the hopes that people will see it on the road from the cabin of their monster trucks!

Valid point, but everyone is on their phones so much anymore while driving I am not real sure there is much hope of most of them noticing much of anything.

That color really suits the pickup very well.

Not the same thing, but it kind of reminds me of the color of a Corgi toy model of a Mini Van I had as a kid. I'm guessing that's a BMC color.

I just need to get away from red and blue. Everything else I own are those colors.  For awhile I was even looking at volcano orange from an MPI mini.

I saw a really nice one done in Ye Olde English White recently

Finally got out to the shop today. I've been home but sick the past few days. Grabbed those panels off the porch.  The gas tank side got stepped on or something near the tank cutout. Mostly popped back out but will need some hammering and finesse work.  Mildly annoying but that's the way it goes. At least they're not rusted and a bunch of various holes drilled in them for different covers used over the years.
