Big thanks to Dan for starting this so long ago.  I am already jealous because he:

1. Gets chicks
2. Restores minis
3. Flies real planes instead of me with my measly single-engine endorsement.

If any of you would like to rebut with reasons not to be jealous of Dan this would be the thread.

I just registered here. Read about this place on one of the anti-boison threads on MM. Glad to know there is a place with a higher signal to noise ratio than the MM forum of late.

I bought my '65 'S' long before the Internet and forums and then once I was into forums (primarily advrider.com) I couldn't quite get into the feel of MM, so never really took part.  Sounds like it's quite a place, though!  Glad I missed it.

Welcome here, Dan dragged me into the Mini world from the Rotary world. Now, for the first time in 17 years I do not own a rotary powered car, but have a Mini and love it.

I found out Dans secret as to how he pulls so much tail. It is all in the sunglasses.

Like whack a mole, but with boison.  Once in a blue moon a spammer gets in but I check the site so much, they likely are deleted before anyone ever notices.  In the 6 or 7 years we've been here, there hasn't been a single issue with anyone.  It's nice that we have been steadily growing over the past couple years.  Hopefully the trend continues. 

Yes Jim it's all about the glasses.  I found those on the airplane the other day and thought they'd make a fine addition to the mini.

And... lastly I guess I'll finally put up a post of my '74 Mini 1000 Project that I've been working on for the past year. I've been keeping it pretty under wraps because it's not quite up to running standard yet.
