Spotted this today.  A teenage driver of a Sentra who mounted his cellphone to his windshield right in his line of sight forward.  I wish the picture showed it better but that cellphone was pretty darn close to his face and it completely blocked his vision.

But it was hands-free, so of course that makes it okay.

I saw this kind of champagne today.

I can't decide if it reminds me more of windshield washer fluid, or how the toilet bowl looks after you put one of those self-cleaner things in the toilet tank.  It's a toss up.

I saw this monster overlander RV made out of an ex-military vehicle at the gas station today.   It almost didn't fit under the canopy.

What do you suppose that big framework they're towing is used for?

Man,  I bet that Rig doesn't pass a gas station!      those are durable but BULKY

the trailer is very specific.. You can blow up the pic and see some unique items .

Loaded with 3 'race style gas cans"
   2  rakes Straped up high
Pump = Water Plumbing UP for a shower head
Flop down side spot  ( worktable )
  Up high- LED Lighting

I wonder if this is a 'Party Platform - Dance stage with Living quarters  - and i would bet for a WIDE Open place like Burning Man!

Lol I thought 80s was good!  It's been 100 degrees during mid day.

BruceK

Well, that sucks.  ;D

Quiz: which is the crazier asking price?

$25,000 for the Mercury Comet (Maverick)?

Or $50,000 for the S2000?

50k for the s2000.  I drove a couple of them when they were new and didn't think they were that special.

BruceK

But wait there's one more.

This ex-MOD Land Rover was probably about $12K when imported to the US 8 years ago.  Now priced at $46K

People are paying STUPID money for low mileage unmolested Japanese sports cars.  Still reference the integra type r that went for like 90k on BaT.   Not much different from the mopar  muscle craze where people were dropping multi millions on hemi cudas.   Always say people who invest in cars as monetary objects have no sense rhyme or reason.

Back in 1981 I owned a 1973 Celica ST and a 1974 Celica GT...loved that 'GT.

Probably worth 50x more now than what I paid for it in 1981 ($600)

30 minutes in a Mini is more therapeutic than 3 sessions at the shrink.

I just looked at a 1970s something Toyota Corolla for the low price of 36k.  I like the retro look but not that price tag on a 45 year old Corolla.

I decided having a plain white truck was boring, so I added a little bit of color with some stripes.

Behold!  The Toyota LiteAce "Swedish Flag Edition" model.  ;D

How long did it take the A/C to get the shop cool enough to work? I'll bet you REALLY like having A/C in there now!

Thanks.  I've always liked the combination of blue and yellow together whether it's on a old Goodyear sign or a Sunoco sign or the aforementioned flag of Sweden.

I think it probably took about an hour to 90 minutes to go from the low 90s down to the mid 70s.  I usually just turn it on via my phone an hour or two before I'm going to go out there and do something.

Yeah I absolutely love having air conditioning.  And when it gets cold that unit is also a heat pump so that would be great in the winter.

So how much HP did those bad boys add? 😁

Seriously though they look really good. Nice job.
