So I'm in a parking lot and a massive but very plain looking SUV parks next to me. Think of a Suburban, but supersized. I look over and see a Rolls Royce badge, with some of the ugliest wheels ever seen on a vehicle IMO. So, a Rolls SUV.  Not sure how the big tank is supposed to be considered desirable. Or attractive.  (Second photo is a stock photo showing the luxo-barge in its entirety).

yeah. I know they were going for the prestige with the big blocky shape, and to keep the design somewhat in the family so to speak and I'm sure it's well made but I haven't been particularly impressed with almost anything Rolls is making these days.

I kinda like the Spectre, but it just looks a lot like a Bentley - I don't know if those are made on the same chassis now like they used to or because one's owned by BMW and the other by Audi if they're now completely different. They sure look like they could be the same body shell.

I agree with you about those wheels.....awful.

Spotted a pretty rare (around these parts anyway) Fiat 600, the "big" brother of the original Fiat 500 sitting outside a pizza place as their mascot.  The 600 is water cooled, rear engined and the early ones had suicide doors.  Bigger than a 500, the 600 seems  just about Mini-sized.

That's cool Bruce.

Paid $2.94 for 93 octane today. Regular at the same station was $2.14

I saw $2.13 (!) a gallon earlier this week. That's absolutely the lowest gas price I've seen in what seems like decades.

I wonder if we will possibly see it dip below $2.00 per gallon?

Your gas taxes must really be low, cause I remember one trip down there with John and we filled up for under $2 in OK, across the state line into Kansas it was mid $2's

The view from my condo does look south to the oil refinery across the river. I lay in bed and watch the flame come off the one stack that burns off gas most nights.
