I am having some trouble with my 1996 SPi Auto.  It won't start.  I recently replaced the engine mounts and drove it for a couple weeks until it started dying at intersections and the idle was very rough.  It felt like the fuel would just cut out for a second and come back. I was having to keep my foot on the throttle to keep it from dying at idle.

I checked the vac lines and replaced a couple along with the fuel trap and there was no change.  Then it just wouldn't start at all and I noticed that the fuel pump was no longer priming so I got out the multimeter to confirm power to the pump but it wasn't priming. I thought that was certainly the issue but after replacing the pump and the filter and there is no change.  Still won't start.

Then I confirmed that there is spark at the plug and there is fuel at the injector.  When I had the air box off to see the fuel from the injector it actually tried and almost started but didn't.  Then I put the air box back on after checking the injector and it started right up and idled beautifully for about 90 seconds and then died.  It hasn't started since and I'm not sure what to check for next.  CPS, Relay Pack, some other sensor...  Any thoughts?  Thank you.

There's a few random sensors as I recall that of course are NLA.  It could be one of those. At least you can convert to carb if you have no luck figuring out which connection or sensor it is.

I would check into one of the third party tools for connecting to the ECU. You will a cable as well,
This is one I have used:
https://rovermems.com/
And another:
https://andrewrevill.co.uk/MEMS3ToolsIndex.htm

They will at least let you verify the status of some of the EFI components.
There are other and it depends on whether you have a PC or android device.
