What if they gave an F1 Race

......and nobody came? Or was allowed to?

So they're talking about having the first four races at two different tracks on subsequent weekends in August - the red Bull ring has it's own airport, so the teams could fly in and be quarantined during the two week race period, then fly off to Silverstone and do the same thing. Oh, and no journalists either, which means the race will be called from a TV booth - they'll be seeing exactly what you are on your TV, at the same time. No roving correspondents in the pit lane, or cameras either except the fixed ones - no cameramen working the corners.....feels like race broadcasts from the 60's.

I just wonder if F1 can survive this, with it's monster race fees and no revenue from the stands?

And then if these four go off OK, would they then let fans in?

And where do they go from here, which venues?

Many questions at this point, and no answers.

Anyway you cut it, whoever wins the championship this year will have several asterisks behind their name
