Thanks, the timing was good for it to move on, although it does look weird to walk down the steps into the shop and not see it there.

I'm kind of jealous. Shortly after I got married, my basement flooded destroying all my pictures (wedding photos too) devastating. But it is fun looking at some of the styles of the times.

So in part of the Jaguar sale thread early on there was mention they were all ready to purchase a red 2+2 e type, but they dropped out to offer on Dave's car.  Wonder if this is said red 2+2 now for sale on BaT.

I don't think any part of the first emails were real.....the only one real in the whole transaction was the guy who bought the car and paid for it with the wire transfer. HE was real!  77.gif
