Even got the Texas Edition. I have a 2014 Access cab Tacoma. Easy to maintain. Not really anything that are problem areas to be concerned about. Just a nice practical truck.

The only thing to know is to not tow in Drive. The torque converter does not lock up in Drive and the trans fluid will get hot going up just about any hill. My work around was to stay in Drive till the bottom of a hill, then knock it over a gear out of Drive. Shift back at the top of the hill.

Yeah Texas Edition.  Not sure what that package includes but it's kinda fitting as the truck was built at the factory in San Antonio about 50 miles from where I live. And it has spent its entire life here in town according to the Carfax records. Now that continues.

Thanks for the tip about not towing uphill in D.  I assume you just slide the shifter to the left and put it in 4 for the hills when towing?
