Hi guys

Stumbled across this forum searching/planning the long overdue restoration of my 1976 clubman van.

Owned the old fella since high school, n he's spent more years off the road than on, so hopefully I can give him the resto he deserves.

Lookin forward to learning what I can, this forum seems to be a mine of good information, hopefully freight prices to Aus don't stop me from purchasing here too.

It's so interesting to me so see all the variations in specification from one country to the next. for example, I don't think any Clubman front cars anywhere else had external hinges. likewise no other country had external hinges, roll up windows and vent windows save Australia! Also, Aussie vans had side windows, where in all other countries they had sheet metal on the sides!

Fascinating stuff to me.....I'll be anxious to see how this one turns out!
