Hahaha. I just wanted to kick his soap box out from underneath his feet. I don't get where he thinks he's better than everyone. And he's siding with that other moron because they are both not originally born in the US. How is that not also a form of discrimination? I'm sure he'll come back with some punchline, but I don't care. The truth is that I've spent a good chunk of money with MiniMania and I've been on the phone with their technical experts before. The help line was hit or miss and they didn't want to do anything to help me out if I hadn't purchased in recent history, and even if I had, they were always pushing me to buy another product to help fix what they thought the problem was.

The end of year budget isn't even the remaining build budget. I still have some final trim work to get done. I actually had a shopping cart of parts that they have that I wanted to buy but once again I've emptied my shopping cart and will not be going back to them ever again. I really hope Don and the others see what's going on and get their baboon back on a leash.

i have made about 1K in Purchases from them and then quickly wised up and realized they overcharge for everything. Recent events have solidified my resolve to never purchase from them again.

Sadly, I am running out of suppliers. I will never purchase from them nor a Mini site that sells inferior made in China shit that breaks. When my rocker broke and I was told it was my fault, yet the MM Rockers in the car have lasted 2K plus miles now, I was horrified to see they sell brake calipers too.

Regarding the aftermarket parts.  It's hit or miss really.  Even some of the "genuine" stuff is crap these days.  Fitment issues or overall quality control is lacking.

Its really dissapointing aout their quality because of the prices they charge, it should all be high quality. Of course i have been vocal about their shit prices for a long time, so to see them be cocks just shows what type of company they really are.

They buy almost all their stuff straight from Mini Spares, I've gotten stuff from them still in MS packages, if you don't like Mini Sport (I've had great luck with M Sport so far) why not go straight to the source and buy direct?

There are few obscure parts that MM holds on the shelves that you can't get anywhere else in a reasonable time. The shipping is usually cheaper, too. But the markup i ridiculous and I don't generally enjoy giving money to assholes. So I've placed a rather large order through MiniSpares and 7ent. I'll pay a bit more for a few parts , but totally worth it. And MM won't get any of my money.

I honestly didn't have anything against MM for YEARS! I loved the community and I met a lot of good people. My style of modification rubbed a few people the wrong way so I sort of stopped posting new stuff I was doing. I locked horns with a few guys over there because they know everything and there is no way a guy that has only been working on classics for 6 years can know ANYTHING.. right?

Heck... I think I've even had heated conversations with a few of you guys at some point. lol. But I don't take any of it personal. And I usually don't post if I have no clue what I'm talking about.
