These electronic glasses to see better for driving are from Valeo, a European OEM parts supplier for various car manufacturers, including MINI.

Sure looks like they really reduce nighttime headlight glare.

"The Valeo shades use 'active shuttering' technology, which employs pulse-width modulation (PWM) to change the state of the glass's liquid-crystal lenses from clear to opaque. The PWM is 'paired' with the driven vehicle, so that the car's LED headlights remain bright, but those of oncoming vehicles are dimmed".

Wow, rather than glasses, how about doing this with the windshield?

I like the idea but I hate wearing glasses......

Why does it have Bluetooth?

I would think it has Bluetooth to connect the glasses to the car so the headlights and glasses shuttering feature will be in sync.
