I'm a sucker for deals on tools and an ad popped up about a 65 piece impact socket set. Deep and shallow sockets of all sizes with various fittings and a wrench. Since I had signed up for the pro membership thing when I bought that lathe, this came out to about $73 shipped.  The case is rather heavy!

Metric sizes too, or just SAE?

A man can't have too many tools......I wish I had that little lathe in my garage, there's always something I need to make it seems.
Complete failure at retirement - but getting better!

Had to pull the engine and trans back out of the bus to repair a 4th gear that lost some teeth. Normally I'd open up the socket drawer and begin getting a few I need and various extensions. Instead I opened up this case and never had to make any extra trips to the tool cart.  So long as I don't trip over it and send all the sockets flying...

How long do you think it will take before the 10mm socket goes missing?

That's funny.  You'd be impressed by how many 10mm and 13mm sockets and wrenches I have.
