Yes, I typed, The Hu on purpose.  What is more metal than a Mongolian Metal Band?  Nothing, that is the answer. My wife turned me on to these cats and I am obsessed, I probably listen to them 3X a week.

If you watch on you tube you will notice over 6,000 Chinese were not amused by this band.   ;D


I came to find out they were touring around the US this past year.  I had no idea they existed let alone were touring.


Yet, my wife, who introduced me to this band, felt an urgency to purchase tickets to the Black Crows reunion tour.  LOL!!

There is a song they are playing on Octane on Sirius from them, except it is a mashup song with some American singer and to be honest, pretty cringy.

I think someone (maybe even you, Jim) had posted about this band once before.

I remember going to youTube and finding several other videos of theirs and watching/listening.  The "heavy metal" application of the native instruments and throat singing style is unique.

Not bad.  Can't decide if I like them or not.  I like some lite metal (Metallica, Judas Priest, Motorhead) but I am not quite as keen on throat singing.  It sorta all sounds the same.

In the spring, when I first take out my Harley, I'll probably have a laugh to myself.
