I wondered that too.  There are other videos showing how water repellant it is.  Maybe would work good spaying the underside of cars, subframe, ect

I actually looked into it for just that. But a lot of people said that each can only does a very small section, and does wear off. Meaning you would have to re-apply it rather often on areas that get a lot of use. Not sure how it would hold up on a car, but I definitely wouldn't want to get under my car and re-apply it every 3000 miles. haha. I did think that it might be useful for areas that don't see a lot of traffic like the nooks and crannies of the car. Engine bay corners, inner fenders, corners of the boot, inside the doors... I may just give it a try. What could it hurt?
