Before I went to that interview in Phoenix I filled out an online form requesting quotes from moving companies. The first day I had about 12 phone calls from various companies. I'm down to about 2 calls a day now.
I got the same type of thing when I was getting health insurance quotes. I needed to get an individual policy to replace the COBRA policy from my last employer (that is now defunct). I requested one online quote and was getting 3 to 5 calls per day for the next couple of weeks. Things quieted down after that to about 2 to 3 per week. Still got a call last week even though I have had a new policy for 4 months.
I know! I hate it when they say, "Come on, I gotta eat!"
