Title: Rush to Gold Bridge rally
Post by: Dmulder on August 23, 2017, 01:30:38 PM
So, I stumbled across this video of a group of guys who took their 71 mgb and 75 austin mini on a 1200 km road rally (rally would be a loose term in reference to this event).  They made a cool video.  Part way through you see the mini almost backed into a lake on a dirt road somewhere in British Columbia.  Looks pretty neat.

That looked like fun, but I wonder why the MGB overheated, and why the coolant bubbling up in the overflow looks so nasty? I mean, they run a repair shop, seems like they should have been on top of that before they left.....

Good escape by the Mini, the truck pulled it up out of there like it weighed nothing!

9:10.    How do you even do that on that flat, mostly straight road?!!

Could've become a submarine.

Gravel road, going a little too fast, back end came around on him?

She was driving when it happened.

Yes I think she was driving when it happened. I also think they were trying to fish tail it. I also wondered about the coolant looking so bad if they ran a repair shop. It looks like a fun event.
