Title: Podifold for Supercharged Minis
Post by: BruceK on June 09, 2017, 07:28:36 AM
I came across this site specializing in building intake manifolds for use with a supercharger.  Interesting stuff.

I've been reading about this for a couple of years, I don't think the results were quite what he hoped and I don't think he's doing them anymore. Don knows this guy too, he used to have a pickup forum where he chronicled the extensive work he did on his Pup, once he finished it he and a buddy took it all the way to Moscow - I couldn't believe it, both guys were over 6 ft tall.

This brown car has the engine out of his Pup, which he sold and closed down his forum....guy's name is Jon.

His podifold concept was interesting, the idea being that rather than sucking the air thru the supercharger (and fuel) he used the supercharger to pressurize the manifold and draw the air/fuel mix directly into the manifold and not thru the supercharger. Interesting engineering challenge.......
