Am I the only one here?
You actually beat me to my own forum! Took me all afternoon trying to figure out how to increase the upload limit for the gallery.
I like the colour of the board.
Thanks. I played around with a few forum softwares and decided this had the nicest layout. The backup and restore feature could have been easier, but everything else was easy to setup.
Hello,
Thanks for starting this new forum! I hope I can contribute some good stuff as time goes by.
Steve
a.k.a. greenthumb
p.s. nice forum!!!!!
Ooooo... Cool! I like it.
I like it too! I posted some pics and kicked off the first 'maint & mod" topic.
Lets all agree to avoid feeding trolls.
Scott
Let's get Dooder on here.

I agree! No trolls! We seriously need to stick together.
P.S. I have a question: What do the stars mean by each of our names? Do you get a black dot instead of a star if your bad?? :D
Nice!!!!

Let's get Dooder on here.
I was almost tempted to just link the store link on the homepage to his website.

The stars are for when you get more post. I think after you get 50 you get another star and upgrade to 998cc and so on. I like the black dot idea though, lol.
Cool I'll get my 60 mini resto up on here soon, I like the Lounge keeps the OT stuff outta the important posts.
Jeff
Plus you'll notice a little minus symbol that allows you to minimize the general discuss and classified sections if you want. So if people don't want to look at anything non mini related, they don't have to. You can also minimize the header at the top of the page too. I figured if I did it like that it would be the best of both worlds. Those that dislike multiple sections and OT threads can have it their way, and those that want something a little more organized with a place to shoot the shit can have it their way.
Hi guys. My new home. Feels comfy.
Good to see you Dean.

OOOPS , I posted the Hello Topic, before I realized what this was! It's the way I always do things, backwards! Oh well. Good to see a new forum, I like the look of it, easy on the eyes. I am looking forward to mini topics, and will try to chime in when there are questions about things I can answer.
Yes mini topics are good. Nice to see a steady flow of people checking out the site.
made it a sticky topic.
You made me change my homepage! Part dealers are now just in the bookmarks. I really like the layout. Easy to find what you want instead of searching through a list of... stuff.
Hi Dean and welcome back...
Like my email said, we'll always find a way to keep in touch.
BTW, I love my Cooper T shirt! dan
Speaking of Dean, where has he been?
my guess would be, printing and sending out the mini50 shirts
Hi guys!
I like the website! I like the separated topics, and the more friendly atmosphere. No restoration going on for me, can I still hang here?!
-Ryan
p.s.- The arcade is flippin sweeeeet ;D

I guess you can hang here... ;) Enjoy yourself, have fun, good luck at pacman.
I was admiring your pacman score earlier...that's gonna be a tough one. I demolished Batman's score on plumber, I think he's mad at me. Lol
He was so proud of that plumber score, haha.
OK, lets all gang up on Mr. Anderson and beat his Pacman score. Shhhh.... I don't think he can hear me. ;)
how do I ever got off 850cc? I at least want a 998cc(in rebuild) or something. How many post to 1275cc? :-\
BATMAN
50 post gets you 998 and 100 gets you 1071 or something. I think 500 was 1275.
;D OK... that's 33
Hello! Checking in. May post my photobucket pics up for my never ending (or beginning) :-\ '64 1071S project.
Welcome!
Hiya!
Hey there,
Any good sources for good MKI half floors.
Unsure of Hadrian and Heritage.
I would like M-Machine but who sells them in the states?
Thank Scott

ScottB6058, just order directly from m-machine. They provide quick turnaround and their shipping is not that outrageous. Call them up. That is what I did.
1st Post.
Hey, I am Jim, an old friend of 94tourings from back in his RX7 days. We have always shared common interests like Mini's, MINI's, RX7's and Porsche 911's, land surveying and silver thongs. I have been fortunate enough to own a 05 MCS JCW with a full Spax suspension added and a 1980 Porsche 911 with a 1990 Engine swap churning out about 350HP.... in a 2400 lb car it was fun. I have had my 1987 RX7 for over 10 years now and it has a 1993 twin turbo motor in it making 400 to the wheels when I feel insane and 330 when I feel insane and want to keep my engine in one piece.
My last car on my "early life bucket list" that I have yet to obtain and play with is a Mini. I have come close to pulling the trigger on a few in the past but things never worked out right.
Dan and I just got back in touch after a while and he has been pestering me to grab one of his that he has and gave me this website he has started to look around.
I have not really looked around much but plan on it over the next few days. Maybe I will finally grab a Mini to play with.
Haha, you just had to mention thongs....bastard.
Was looking at some of the rx7 vids you have on your website and had to just walk away from the computer. I want another 3rd gen so bad it kills me sometimes.
Not to get into Rx7's too much on a Mini board but..... you may as well be tempted. :D
My dad purchased a 1993 RX7 a couple of years after I got my 87. He had a C5 Vette at the time ans was so impressed by how fast my RX7 was at the local AX and on the street he had to have one. It had a blown engine and he put a Mazda reman in it, then we had Pettit racing do some tricks. It puts 330 to the wheels as well with the stock twins and a Power FC. Fresh back paint and lots of TLC.
He is selling it for 12K he keeps asking me to buy it to keep it in the family. He is selling to buy a nicer boat.
Ddi you see those vids on the Ring?? They make me want to ship my car out and get over there....
I remember you telling me about your dads 7, and I think I even saw some pics of the thing. 12k seems like a good deal, at least it was a couple years ago when I knew the market for them better.
Yeah saw that video too. All good stuff.
Look like your on your way.
Good luck and I like your garage.
regards Scott
Man, I thought I had posted here, but here goes: Hello!!!
Just wanted to give a shout out, wish everybody a happy new year. Love the site, will start being a frequent user.
Thanks
Welcome to the forum, always nice to see a familiar new face.
71.gif Feelin' pumped to finally get myself on a mini page in a group etc. Cheers! 77.gif This is cool and easier to navigate around versus other forums Hope to get to know other enthusiasts and pass around knowledge! 4.gif

really cool way to keep people posting and interested in the forum haha gotta level up n stuff hahahaha 17.gif
Welcome, Single. Glad you took my advice. You'll get more support over here with your type of project. MiniMania tends to be more focused on originality. There aren't too many guys on either site that can help with VTEC specific questions, but there are forums for that, too. But please start a build thread here so w can all watch the progress. You might help some others take the leap as well.
I have some Vtec experience, I've been keeping my buddies P'up on the road for about 6 years now.....
And Welcome!
Hey, I'm the latest new guy. My buddy, MiniDave, told me about this place a while ago, but I have nobody but myself to blame for getting here so late.
My first car was a Mini back in high school, and I've owned a bunch of them over the years.
Glad you made it here BruceK. Welcome aboard.
I keep bumping into you and Larry H all over the net! ;D
Welcome! Glad you decided to pop in......

Wait for it...................

Testing... testing. Just checking to see if I can post a pic.
Nice 4.gif.

Rosebud looks fantastic!
Welcome to the forum.... 4.gif
New to site, looks a good one, I have a 62 Cooper, question will follow. 77.gif
Welcome, oh Tim!
Nice Mini - we'll need details of course.... ;D.
Welcome to the forum!
Welcome aboard. Nice mini.
I think I'm finally about done with the MM forum, so thought I'd pop in here and see what's up. I'm just really tired of having to weed through all of the numskull posts about R56 that and JCW whatever, and how do you adjust your automatic radio presets, or which side does the gas go in on my "classic" 2010 Mini Cooper.
So here is Kreacher and "Alf.
People still go to MM? ;D Welcome to our forum!

Geez, I haven't been to the MM forum since about 2001. Maybe left before then.
Very happy to be HERE!
Hey, Restoration Mini got a nice call out on the most recent Mini auction on BaT. See below. Could bring some new members.
There has been a slight increase in registrations. Although I deny half of them based on bogus sounding locations on their profiles.
Welcome aboard Red Riley. Nice looking pair there. Someday we may able to do things as a group again.
Hey, glad to see you still have Kreacher ..Don is on here with his Vtec Pup too!
He's done about 35K miles on his so far....
I've always liked that Riley - the matching trailer is fantastic! 77.gif
