Title: Early floor panel
Post by: Spitz on November 23, 2015, 04:40:15 PM
I'd like to know if this panel shape is avaiable anywhere.
I'd like to keep things as original as possible

Aside from the tunnel indent floor pans will match that.  I have one or two in the shop but check the store for stock if that's what you want to do.

Understood...I was more worried about the foot pan area.  The new ones are square and smaller ( the depression in the foot area.
Also...I'm looking for longer front floor panels...the ones that will reach to the rear flange of the cross member.
I've uncovered rust holes on the front edge of the crossmember.  I plan on cutting it out and replacing with an equal amoun t from a parts car.  Reason being, I don't want to lose the early welded seat brackets

Aside from that one rotten spot, are there many holes?  Do they really need replaced?

The floor panel on the left side does not have this rot at the cross member....just a hole similar to the right.

My plan is to cut out the rot part of the cross member and replace it with a cut piece from a good one.

The back side of the crossmember is solid to the floor
