Title: 1966 MGB
Post by: jeff10049 on January 20, 2026, 05:34:20 PM
I thought I would post this here for a day or two before putting it on BAT.  I got stuck with this car. The owner purchased it from Classic Cars, and it was misrepresented. The engine was bad, very bad we had to replace the block.
After the repairs, unfortunate circumstances have happened in the customer's life. He would like me to sell the car.

The car has a fully rebuilt engine, and we went through and fixed up a few other minor issues. The car is now ready to drive. I'll post a link to the original ad, as that's a quick way for you guys to see pictures.
The original ad states the car has overdrive, but it does not.

The engine bay is now tidier than in the old pictures. If anyone has a serious interest, I can provide new, current pictures and give more details.

If you're interested, make an offer, probably needs to be 10k+ for consideration.

We put it on BAT. I forgot to post that earlier, but there are  a couple of hours left if anyone was interested in bidding. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1966-mg-mgb-roadster-15/

We had a reserve of 8500; he was happy with the 10k, that's what we were hoping for.  Whats crazy is it sold to a local guy talk about easy.
