Title: Electric winch review
Post by: 94touring on November 23, 2025, 10:24:48 AM
I just ordered one of these from Amazon. A vevor 3 in 1 electric winch that's capable of 1100lbs.  I have my chain hoist that's good for 2 tons but it's slow and a lot of hand cranking.  I'll be installing an engine in a car next week and decided now was the time to buy something electric.  Cost $100.

Looks like it's corded? If so it seems perfect for that use! Mini Engine/gearbox is about 325-350lbs so that should present no issues. Does it have a brake of some sort?

$100? Seems like a bargain!

I'm not entirely sure, I'll see if it does when I get home from this trip.  Only thing I read was the first use it needs to have a load on it.

I like that it has a wireless remote, so you don't have to have the cord in the way.....
