I replaced my clutch master a few weeks back because the pedal arm was wet and saw wet traces on the carpet under the arm. Was not having any clutch issues. Well, over the weekend I notice the arm and carpet is wet again. First thought was about the suspect quality of the part. But then I notice the wiring harness above that area is wet. Trace it back to the where the copper oil pressure line goes into the gauge has a small drip. Got almost a full turn on the nut to snug it up. Now to clean up the oily mess that has been going on for at least a year or more. It has run down the wiring harness from inside the center binnacle and then down the wires under the dash area. :embarrassed: :banghead:
That's always frustrating :embarrassed:
I just got a new brake master for the '75 because I see fluid coming down the floor by the steering column and I've already replaced the clutch master. Maybe I'll actually try to look at it a little before ripping into it now you've said that - TY!
