Title: Synchro Rings
Post by: Coalhod on June 03, 2025, 12:15:57 PM
Hello;  Rebuilding my old 1128 remote gearbox.  Anyway, any recommendations for synchro rings?  I'm doing the occasional autocross with the car and have found the various suppliers have a range of rings which of course depends on $$$.

Thanks,

Andrew

I've been happy with the ones sold by MiniSpares....  https://www.minispares.com/22g2033evo-baulk-ring-to-original-rover-spec-pre-2000

We used the "competition" type from MS in my recent rebuild, they look really nice. I only have 200 or so miles on them so I can't really say they work better or last longer. I think I was sucked in by the description, and of course they did make my wallet lighter......
