Title: Wild Child Classic Cars
Post by: bikewiz on May 28, 2025, 06:42:14 PM
Searching the 'net for a BDK needle to modify I came across these guys. I sent an email asking if they had it in stock, they responded first thing the next morning. I ended up ordering the needle and few other bits from them. They shipped quickly and freight was reasonable, comparing the prices with the freight from MS it ending up maybe $5 more but I got the order quicker than DHL from the UK.
For you guys closer to AZ it may be a good alternative to MS time wise and a whole lot cheaper than Minimania  or the other usual suspects when you need something quick.

Are you having to start over with a new needle I take it?

I've got it pretty good with a modified BDL but want to try the BDK as it's specs are pretty close to my measurements on the modified BDL, so if it is then I can possibly run the stock BDK needle or just make minor polishing adjustments. Curiosity is also part of it,I've gone through a half dozen needles just to see what they do based on the diameter changes.

I hear ya. I went through so many needles when I first starting modifying it's not even funny!
