All rebuilt and shiny. 1275 +.020 MD266 cam 3.1FD new Retrosport CNC timing chain cover(hopefully no more leaks)
Wow, that looks terrific.....hope it runs as good as it looks! That's pretty much right on spec for how I used to build them too.....
Interesting pull plates for lifting it in/out

Funny thing is the guy that rebuilt it is named Dave! I made those plates out of what I had, they work really good.
Don't forget to put the speedo cable on the trans before putting it all back in. Looks nice. I was checking out the lift plates also. Good idea.
Which ratio rockers are you going with? I really liked the 266 in my 1310. I used calvert 1.4 ratios with it.

I believe they're 1.3 Cooper style forged. I remember discussing it with him but I can't remember what we agreed upon.
I used a lot of those Cooper 1.3 forged rockers too, they work well......
I was able to steal a little time yesterday and drop the motor back into my car.
Now the rest of the assembly can commence :steeringwheel:
I like the blanket.
You'll be driving it this weekend! :13:

I got it from that guy Dr Doolin a few years ago, I think I paid maybe $50 which I thought was crazy for a shipping blanket with a hole in it, but I see now he sells them for $95!

I think maybe 20 more hours the way I do things, I can only steal a little time here and there. My contractors bay is 10 miles from my house, so everything starts with a 15 min drive.
