Fun race to watch, could not believe how much time the winner pulled out over the rest of the field after the driver change!

You know the story behind the paint job on the winning car?

Dave it was a competition for kids and the winner ended up with their colour scheme recreated on the Mini.

That was awesome fun to watch.  There was good number of well known mini drivers from following the Mini race series in the UK (which I used to follow).  Also there was a decent number of drivers experienced in much more powerful machinery, I noted the following:
Chris Goodwin - McLaren Test Driver
Matt Neal - British Touring Car Champion (and 6ft 7 tall!)
Andy Jordan - British Touring Car Champion
Andre Loitter - Le Man 24 Hour Champion
Jean Eric Vergne - Ex F1 Driver
Martin Brundle - Ex F1 Driver/F1 Commentator
Andy Priaulx - World Touring Car Champion
Brendan Hartley - Ex F1 Driver and Le Mans Champion (and Mini owner)
Steve Soper - British Touring Car Champion
Karun Chandhok - Ex F1 Driver

Don't forget Bill Solis - I have a book written by him on prepping a mini for competition. He's a multiple Mini 7 race champion

I grouped Bill in with the "well known mini drivers".

From things the commentators were saying, I got the impression each 2-driver team was composed of one Mini driver and one non-Mini driver.

How about that incredible save at just over 3 minutes into the video!
