Diana Rigg, who played Emma Peel on The Avengers, (the real Avengers, not the silly superhero movie of the same name), died today.

I grew up watching The Avengers on TV and the Emma Peel character made quite an impression on me as a young boy. She was John Steed's partner, drove a very cool Lotus Elan, often wore leather jumpsuits, and kicked bad guy ass whenever needed. And she was kinda easy on the eyes too. She's the reason that I named my Mini, Emma.
