I was informed that all of my children and grandchildren no longer use FaceTube because "it's for old people now" and if I want to see what they are doing I need an Instagram account.
So I have one. (MiniDaveC)
But nowhere can I find what the icons under the pics do - there's no explanations when you hover your cursor over them like on anything Windows, so I have no idea how to do anything with it except look at their pics.
So, school me young dudes!
I think the heart means you like something?
The quote balloon is to reply to a pic or post?
The paper airplane?
The flag on the right?
any other tips?
I have Instagram. It's just a place I post the occasional picture. Like and comment are the options under the pictures.
Yes the heart is for liking a picture.
The quote bubble is to leave a comment.
The paper airplane is to send a message.
The flag on the right saves the picture to your archives.
The # is known as a hashtag. It's a way to tag your post so it's picked up by searches. Like #mini would show your picture to anyone who searched for mini.
The @(username) will notify the user that your comment was directed at them.
