Anybody else see the Mini Alcan Xpedition page on Facebook? Looks like a couple out of Northern California are building their 69 Austin Mini (from the pics I think it is a Cooper S, diagonal bar in behind the grill) into a reliable TSD rally car to run the Alcan.
It appears Seven Mini Parts has come on board as a sponsor/parts supplier. Looks interesting to me.
That is Jack and Claire Holdaway. Jack is with 7 Ent. currently but has worked a wide range of mini vendors in the past.

I've been following "Hunter" s posts on Mania as he prepares his Clubby wagon for the trip....it's going to be a tough trip too - one leg is over 800 miles - in one day!
I ran a car rally over in the Detroit area earlier this year. There was a guy with an old Triumph that he was going to use to run the Alcan this year
