I don't know of that group/business.  I'm not on facebook, but I will try to see what I can find out about them.  I think I recognize at least on of the Minis in the picture from seeing it at a Lowes near where I used to live as well as from at the Round Rock show a couple years ago.

Nice group of mini's.  Stills staggering how many classics are out there hiding.

The Mini on the far left of the photo is the same one my daughter spotted in San Antonio back in June (and I shared in the cell phone thread).   And I agree with Mark about how it's great how Minis keep popping up!

I noticed the FaceTube site says it's "automotive restoration service".  But looking deeper it seems to be a Mini import service sourcing cars from the UK and Japan and selling them to US buyers.  Prices seem to be competitive.

Hey Michael, did you ever find out anymore about these Mini nuts in your backyard?

Sorry Bruce, I completely forgot.

I'll try to remember and see what I can find out this week.

I started to investigate this place and went to the facebook page to double check their info.

Apparently they have already gone "bust" based on the following post by the apparent business operator:

Quote
ACMF, It is with much regret that I am writing to inform everyone that I will be stepping away as administrator and owner of this page and business. The past month has been very difficult for my family and I, and I must focus more on my "day" job.

The page will remain up and will serve as a meeting place for Classic Mini lovers, my associate Jeremy Quintanilla will continue to maintain the page at his own discretion. He can assist in any purchases of MINI's from the U.K.; however our methods with change. Since I will be cancelling my dealership license request, he can serve as a liaison for the searching, purchasing, and shipping if the Mini's, tax title and licensing will be the responsibility of the purchase as well as any Maintenace required. He can recommend a repair shop or assist in coordination, but all sales will be as is. He will do his best in taking as many detailed pics and videos and gather as much information on each Mini as possible.

Shirts are still available for sale thanks fully to Katie Alderete. You can order them along with other great gifts Two Fireflies.

Marco Antonio Escamilla will still be completing the jobs that are due, and will revert his shop to a traditional automotive repair shop, able to take on any work needed.

Thank everyone for your support!John Fez Alderete
