Title: Need some help getting info out of an online picture
Post by: Jims5543 on September 22, 2016, 03:39:39 AM
I am not sure how to do it but I know some of you do. I have seen you post that you strip your pictures info off of them, so I know it is there.

I need to know, if this is possible the date this picture was taken.

Long story short, I need to have pictures of homes in order to complete a FEMA Elevation certificate, this home happens to be about 40 minutes away from my office, I took a front picture of it yesterday and for some weird reason it never stored in my phone. I know I took the picture.

I really hate to have to drive back up then it dawned on me there should be a real estate listing for it online with pictures.

So here we are, I just need to state the date the picture was taken on my form. It does not say I have to take it or that it has to be very recent.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like the Exif data was scrubbed from the photo. Likely when it was resizd to be online. I can't see anything.

Via my Mac, I do get a little information, but not much.  The picture was "Last Modified: November 12, 2011 12:30:03 am"  if that helps any.

I seem to come up with 2011 also.
Far right of my screen shot about 8 lines down 11/11/2011

I don't get 11/11/2011 with neither Chrome or Explorer.

Thanks for the help, to be honest it should not be a huge deal, that pit looked almost identical to the one I thought I took.

The only difference was cars in the driveway.
