That was interesting, can't believe Jay didn't know about using the BMW head on the Mini engine.
Graham says he's getting 120hp at the flywheel on this engine, yet it didn't have a lumpy idle or anything. You could really hear those straight cut drop gears whining, I don't think I'd want to hear that all the time. He's using a 2.9:1 diff ratio, I was thinking of using the 3.01:1 in my car....... but my engine is dead stock (as far as I know, since it's not the original engine).
I had 2.76 gears in Buzz, for the HP he made it was a little tall in town, but out on the road he pulled fine, up hills or whatever.
