This looks like a pretty terrific new track - 3.9 miles long and lots of elevation changes.....

Next week I'm planning to meet Clancy and another guy at this track for a tour - we're hoping we get to take some laps too - even if only in Clancy's official SCCA pick up truck.  BTW, that's how we're hoping to get in - Clancy is coming back from an official SCCA event and will be towing the trailer with all the SCCA graphics all over it!   ;D

He's calling them this week to try and set it up. I'll take pics if we make it!

That photo shows a great looking track!   And just a couple of hours away from you.

Well, it's no Tilke, that's for sure!   ;D

Clancy thinks it might be a bit too curvy, but he says he'll reserve final word till we drive it.

I still like Heartland Park, but it's nice to have choices within driving distance, and there should be plenty of places to stay around there since it's practically right on Lake of the Ozarks.

But I'm curious why they chose to build it there....I know land is plenty cheap there....but it's not exactly easily convenient to a major metro area. It's about equidistant to both St. Louis and KC I guess, and not that far from Tulsa/OKC....
