Dumb just dumb stuff

I go to harbor freight to buy a cheap tarp for a one way trip to Colorado covering stuff in my boys truck. While I'm there I spot a spot sandblaster. It's cheap so I buy the thing to try to clean up around my hinges. I have a bag of fine sand left from this years ice storms so I figure I'm golden. I fire up the compressor set it at 90 PSI load the gun and it works like crap. HMMM I'll read the instructions see if I'm doing something wrong. There it is in the first line "do NOT use sand"  50.gif. You sell it as a sand blaster HELLO 11.gif

We have the industrial drum of aluminum oxide at work I'm going to snag some and try it. The baking soda may just vanish here at the house.
