Title: Hardy Spicer U Joint with grease fitting?
Post by: Coalhod on May 20, 2020, 06:43:48 AM
Hello;  Getting ready to change the old u joints but the new joints have a grease fitting where the old joints did not.  Anybody ever use the type with grease fittings?  I'm assuming there may be a clearance problem with the grease fitting.

Thanks, Andrew

Also called a 'zirk'. I've used them without problems.

I have seen them both ways, but the last ones I bought did not have grease zerks, which I thought was odd.....as the ones I replaced did have zerks!
