Title: Mk1 Flasher Relay Modern Replacement?
Post by: SomethingNew71 on February 07, 2021, 08:23:05 AM
Hey Everyone!

Was hoping I might be able to pick your brains a bit regarding the early 3 prong lucas flasher relays in the mk1 minis. Does anyone know if there is a good modern replacement out there that can handle LED bulbs without the need for resistors? Really struggling to find a suitable replacement.

You may have to go with a square cased one such as this one from Autozone:

A Google search of "LED flasher" will turn up other options, but most three prong flashers seem to be the square cased variety versus the round case.

This is what I have been using.
Does require a ground and I used a mounting base
