Hello and Happy Easter;

Hoping there might be some tricks of the trade to curing this.  Engine out last year and found 1 bolt loose so tightened that up to spec on the cover and maybe will luck out again with just needing tightened.  The car made it at least 500 miles before the leaks started again.  Probably need to Loctite all fasteners.  If needed, I will take the cover off and flatten as I have had leaks happen from overtightening the bolts and distorting the cover.

How bad is it leaking?  Some oil leaking is pretty standard with a mini. The problem on the radiator side is the fan blowing oil into the radiator, which then cakes with dirt.

Radiator looks good so far.  There is some film on the timing cover.  I haven't taken record of oil consumption yet.  A friend of mine and I were at a British car event and he told some passers by that his Triumph Spitfire didn't leak oil to which the response was "there's probably not any oil in it!"

Take note of how it drips or puddles under the car.  If it's a few drops I personally wouldn't bother.  If it's a small pool...
