Happy 30th Birthday!

Emma, my Mini, turned 30 years old yesterday.  I don't have the exact build date, but records show she was first registered on 17 May 1988 so that's close enough.

I know she was on the road for about 10 years, then around 1998 she was put away in a garage under a oriental rug for about 15 years (the car was given as a gift to an 18 year old girl who, it turned out, didn't want a Mini). Emma was recommissioned, as it were, in 2014.  And again last year recommissioned a second time to fix the work done in 2014.

She was born as a 1988 Jet Black special edition model with a 998.   Then, like Michael Jackson, she became white later in life.  ;D
