Title: My latest project-roofrack
Post by: Willie_B on July 05, 2009, 07:10:54 AM
Just about done with the roofrack I am building for a friend. This is my second and I am already making changes to make it better and easier to build. This one was requested to be semi-gloss black with darker colored wood. I was not sure at first but it looks good. I will be installing it next week so hope to have some photos of it on the proper van and not propped on my car.

Goodness thats high quality work!  How much does something like that cost if you were to sell them?

More than I would be willing to pay if I were looking to buy one. The materials run about $100 and it takes about 15 hours or so to build it all. It is not show quality but I didn't want it to look that perfect. Kinda wanted the odd edge and slightly old look on the wood. Got the info to build it from this web site.
